ARI has engineered a number of distinct and patented technological advances: one in blade design with a wing tip, allowing our turbines to reduce turbulence caused by the  blade path of the first blade in front of the second blade and the second blade in front of the third blade, and so on, therefore more effectively catch greater wind at lower wind speeds, with a smaller diameter profile; and a second in the electronics which govern and manage the variable current for distribution to the local center or back into the main electrical grid. The result of these design advances is a smaller, more efficient turbine that produces more power along a wider range of wind speeds.  These improvements have been tested and proven to be far more mechanically reliable under extreme weather conditions.

Ongoing technological advances are also being applied to our already rugged current blade design to eliminate turbulence noise. Technical improvements we have developed play an integral role in our growth and reputation, both driven by our superior designs and system reliability, which are our most critical strategic assets.

Our wind turbine designs cover the following ranges of power production: 1.8kW, 7.5kW, and 50kW. Our 1.8kW turbine is designed for remote locations, such as a remote cabin or hunting camp, and will be soon  available. Our 7.5kW turbine is sufficient to power an average American household and can greatly reduce and even eliminate a family’s electric bill. On the upper end of the power generation scale is our 50kW model that has applicability for agriculture, light industrial uses, wind farms, and municipal loads. All of these can be combined into wind/solar community based installations or coordinated with other renewable energy systems such as tidal or hydropower.
