- Product FAB & Competitive Comparison
- (F) ARI Proprietary US Jet Tube Tip Designed Blades
- (A) Greater wind capture & energy production (B) lower energy bills for our customers
- (A) Strong /Light weight for lower start up speed (B) maximized output
- (A) Quieter operation (B) superior audial aesthetics
- (A) Made in USA (B) greater quality control (B) promoted US employment
- (A) Among the lightest blades of comparably sized turbines (B) quicker startup speed which means more efficient energy production
- Competitive Comparison:
- Blades with less wind capture and/or heavier materials cause reduced efficiency and production which means a lower ROI for the customer.
- Blades with increased noise production reduce the audial aesthetics of the product and reduce customer appreciation and hospitality.
- (F) Active Yaw Control (USA)
- (A) Electric Controlled Furling – the electric sensor communicates with a stepper motor, controlling the rotor’s angle into the wind or away from higher wind progressively Blades (B) allow maximum harvesting of the available wind energy, maximizing power output (B) storm/damage protection (B ) greater opportunity for increased turbine life and usage
- (A) Generator temperature sensor for overheat protection (B) preserves generator, less opportunity for system failure
- (A) Blades, yaw & generator specifically designed to work together (B) safer and more efficient – most industry designs contain independently purchased and intended parts
- (A) Made in USA (B) greater quality control (B) promoted US employment
- (F) Electronic brake (USA)
- An option for slowing or stopping the blades during inclement weather. IMPORTANT NOTE: when used as a primary braking source, a short circuit can occur during very high voltages which will breakdown the system.
- (A) Made in USA (B) greater quality control (B) promoted US employment
- (F) Aerodynamic stall (USA)
- (A) Designed into the blades which prevents them from continuing to spin at dangerously high speeds (RPM) at higher wind speeds (B) avoids overheating the generator and extends system life
- (A) Made in USA (B) greater quality control (B) promoted US employment
- Competitive Comparison:
- ARI wind turbines contain all of the above listed options while the 50kW version also exhibits a mechanical braking system. All of these alternatives provide added insurance that the machine will continue to perform and react properly even in dramatic weather conditions while contributing to a long-lasting and overall efficient product.
- PM Direct Drive Compressed Flux Generator
- (A) Energy goes directly from the blades to the generator not to mention less moving parts (B) Less chance of failure and maintenance along with lower associated costs
- (A) The Flux Generator operates at 92-95% efficiency versus an induction generator and gear box that works at 80% efficiency (B) more energy production and lower bills
- (A) Lighter than common PM direct drive generator (B) more power despite same wind speed and blade diameters
- Competitive Comparison:
- Some use a Gear Box which incurs a high probability of failure and lower efficiency. Gear Boxes are the 2nd highest failure rate for all wind turbine components.
- Some use Induction Generator & Gear Box. It reduces the cost but it’s far less efficient and it increases the rate of system failure. Additionally, it requires far more maintenance and its associated cost such as oil change care 2 to 4 times per year.
- Inverters (USA)
- (A) Made in USA (B) greater quality control (B) promoted US employment
- Competitive Comparison:
- Our inverters are programmed to work at low and high voltage which means greater energy is captured and therefore a more cost effective option for the customer. They also possess a higher capacity than other competitive offerings.
- Controller (USA)
- (A) Made in USA (B) greater quality control (B) promoted US employment
- Competitive Comparison:
- One of the best and most reliable controllers in the marketplace produced by the segment’s premier manufacturer.
- (F) Online monitoring (USA)
- (A) Customer can view real-time production (B) informative, reassuring and even EXCITING!
- (A) Made in USA (B) greater quality control (B) promoted US employment
- Competitive Comparison:
- Many competitors do not offer this feature and therefore leave the customer wondering about the productivity and cost-cutting measures of their purchase until they receive their monthly invoices.
- Many competitors that offer this feature do not provide actual real-time monitoring and/or choose to promote this option via foreign call centers. We think it’s best to support our MADE IN THE USA products by MADE IN THE USA employees and systems!
- How does it tie into the grid?
- Grid tie through UL listed inverter and installed by a certified electrician.
- Is it off-grid capable?
- Yes, the Outback is grid-tie and off-grid capable, once battery is fully charged, it automatically connects to the grid.
- Power Bright inverter is used for off-grid only
- Tower Construction Comparisons
- Types
- Monopole
- Aesthetically pleasing, small footprint
- Simpler installation
- Least maintenance
- Higher cost for installation
- Lattice
- Not considered aesthetically pleasing, small footprint
- More complex installation
- Higher maintenance
- Less expensive
- Guyed
- Not considered aesthetically pleasing, larger footprint
- Most complex installation
- Highest maintenance: impedes activity – farming, nearby use, etc. and a hazard for children, animals & equipment
- Least expensive
- What configuration does ARI Green Energy recommend and why?
- Monopoles for most installations due to the facts presented above. However lattice towers can also be useful for specific applications. Please contact the ARI Green Energy Sales Department at sales@arigreenenergy.com for more details and information.
- Power Production
- How does the system work?
- The ARI Green Energy patented blade system captures the wind and converts it into electricity through the generator. That energy will travel through the rectifier to produce DC power that will be fed into the grid-tied inverter. The created energy will then “push” a negative (net) reading into your meter.
- How much power is produced and how much will I save?
- Power production assessment and its cost savings is a compilation of average annual wind speeds, tower elevation, and the overall production and efficiency of the product. All of which are directly attributed to your actual location. Please contact the ARI Green Energy Sales Department at sales@arigreenenergy.com for more details and information.
- Is power production guaranteed?
- The product is guaranteed to generate power as long as the minimum wind and tower requirements are met. If the product does not achieve the specified production levels outlined by ARI Green Energy at the point of sale, we will address any and all possibilities to remedy. While ARI Green Energy cannot guarantee the behavior of wind we do absolutely guarantee the foundation of our 10-year limited warranty.
- Installation and Delivery
- How much are Installation Costs?
- Installation costs vary based on the tower configuration, tower height, and the distance from the existing energy meter along with other variables. The entire cost of the installation is included in the final purchase price of which the entire amount can be financed. Please contact the ARI Green Energy Sales Department at sales@arigreenenergy.com for more details and information.
- How much space do I need? Do I have enough?
- The preferable spacing is at least one acre however a site assessment is necessary to determine the optimal coverage (greater or lesser). Please contact the ARI Green Energy Sales Department at sales@arigreenenergy.com for more details and information.
- How quickly can it be installed?
- Upon financial approval ARI Green Energy will begin the foundation work within 30 to 60 days. It will take approximately 7 to 14 days depending on the soil type. The foundation will then need to cure for approximately 28 days. Once cured the remainder of the installation will take about one week. Full cash (non-financed) transactions can/will be expedited substantially.
- Who will install it?
- Unlike the industry norm, all ARI Green Energy products are installed by experienced, hospitable and knowledgeable ARI Green Energy employees.
- How will the installation affect my property?
- There should be little to no interruption with the existing site. The surrounding area’s ground will be flattened and cleared however exclusive landscaping will be handled by the customer.

* While ARI Green Energy takes great pride in offering a MADE IN THE USA product, the generator used in our suite is made in China. Approximately 90+% of the “permanent magnet” marketplace is owned and operated by China. Finding a generator not produced in that country would greatly hinder the operational cost of the overall product – a cost that we would not feel comfortable passing on to our customers.
