Milestones:

June 2006: Autumn Rains International Incorporated was founded by Anne Li , who holds masters degrees in Natural Resources and Environmental Economics from Duke University. The company's initial financing was from the founder. The mission of the corporation is to design and manufacture quieter and artistic wind turbines with high performance and low cost, and to combine the two complementary renewable energy resources -- solar power and wind power -- into one hybrid solar-wind power system to optimize the use of the two energy resources for power supply.

Feb 2007:  ARI Renewable Energy Company was registered as the business name of Autumn Rains International, Inc. by its founder, with the goal of ultimately utilizing the most available natural and renewable resources -- sun and wind -- to provide affordable clean energy to average families and remote communities by making the highest quality solar-wind generator.

June 2007: A year after its founding, ARI manufactured and sold its first small wind turbine, the ARI-450, on June 18, 2007. Within 2 weeks, six ARI-450 wind turbines were sold.

Aug 2007: ARI introduced its second small wind model into the market, the ARI-750. The ARI-750 received acceptance in the global market with its low startup wind speed and excellent performance. It has become known by its consumers as a quiet turbine that does not freeze in freezing rains and it continues operating in severe cold weather, keeping its battery bank from freezing.

Oct 2007: ARI R&D finished its design for ARI-2500, and started prototype testing process. Meanwhile, ARI R&D teams began its initial blade and component designs for the ARI-3500. Plans for ARI-5000 and ARI-10kW are laid out.

Dec 2007: Six months later since its first product was introduced in the market, ARI has sold its products in the global market throughout Europe, N. America, Australia, and Asia, more than 300 units, plus solar PV panels, reaching total revenue near 1 million and total energy power of 272 kilowatts. On Christmas Day, ARI received the reward from the public bid of the Indian government for nearly 1 million solar-wind power generator systems, 93 kilowatts of solar PV power and 70 kilowatts of wind power, making 163 kilowatts of clean renewable resource energy.

Jan 2008: ARI received a grant of $50K for smart wind turbine research and marketing from New York State with Clarkson University and Gradients Composite. At the same time, ARI is preparing to file its first patent in small wind design. ARI R&D finished its design and testing for the blade of ARI-3500.

Feb 2008: ARI's manufacture finished the production of its first model of ARI-2500. And ARI-2500 begins to undergo field test.

Aug 2008: ARI finished its ARI-2500 field test. And ARI-2500 is ready for commercial market. Meanwhile ARI-3500 begins its field test.
